Terms & Conditions
These terms set out the rules for using Silo-360 and explain the responsibilities that sit with you and with us.
About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and Silo-360 when you create an account or use the service. If you do not agree, do not use Silo-360. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement.
If you use Silo-360 on behalf of an organisation or another property owner, you confirm that you have authority to bind them and to provide the information you upload.
The service
Silo-360 helps you create a structured digital record of a property, including works, systems, appliances, documents, maintenance, contacts, costs and photographs. Features may change as we improve the service.
Silo-360 is an organisational tool, not a survey, valuation, safety assessment, legal record, professional advice service or permanent archive. Completeness indicators show whether fields have been recorded. They do not certify safety, condition, compliance or accuracy. You remain responsible for inspections, statutory records, deadlines and professional advice.
Your account
- Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Keep sign-in credentials secure and do not share access except through features intended for that purpose.
- Tell us promptly at hello@propertyOS.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
Your content
You retain ownership of property information, files, photographs, notes and other content you provide. You grant Silo-360 a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.
You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to upload content, including personal information about contractors or other people. You are responsible for its accuracy and for keeping independent copies of important documents.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to infringe another person's rights.
- Do not upload malware, unlawful material, content you are not entitled to use, or highly sensitive information unrelated to managing a property.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, access another user's information, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale or reverse engineer protected parts of it.
- Do not misrepresent a Silo-360 record, completeness indicator or export as professional certification or verified evidence from Silo-360.
Plans, payment and cancellation
Any paid plan, price, billing period, taxes and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew for the same period until cancelled. You may cancel future renewal through the service or by contacting us.
Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable cooling-off or refund rights, are not affected. If no paid plan has been purchased, no subscription charge applies.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Silo-360 reliable, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider failure or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may change, replace or retire features. Where a material change significantly reduces a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and any remedy required by law.
Our intellectual property
Silo-360 and its software, design, branding and service content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. These terms do not transfer our intellectual property to you.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Silo-360 at any time. You can request account closure by contacting hello@propertyOS.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, address non-payment, or respond to a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
After closure, access to content may end. Export or download important information before closing your account. Retention after closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care, but not loss that was not foreseeable, business loss, or loss caused by inaccurate user content, missed maintenance, failure to keep independent copies, or reliance on the service as professional advice or certification.
If you use Silo-360 wholly or mainly for business purposes, our total liability arising in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the service in that period, and we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law or security requirements. We will post the updated terms and effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means the updated terms apply.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of mandatory protections in your home jurisdiction and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Questions, complaints or notices can be sent to hello@propertyOS.co.uk. We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
